The JaSU Student Scientific Society (SSS) is a structural unit of the University and its Board includes 10 active students who are enthusiasts of their respective study fields. Board members are elected for a one-year term. The Board coordinates scientific events throughout the academic year and organizes the Annual SSS Conference, which usually takes place in March or April.
All students are encouraged to submit their thesis for the conference and present them either as poster or as oral presentations. The aim of the conference is to popularize scientific activities among students, to motivate students for scientific work, and help them develop their ability to state and present scientific thesis, as well as to defend their opinion.
Medical students who are members of the Student Scientific Society can present their thesis and scientific works at the International Medical Students Conferences, which take place in various countries of the world.
